Loving This Week 1

Loving This Week

Just a quick check-in for the week to share a few of the things I’m loving this week, or in the blog world “swooning over.”

Side Note: I actually hate the word swoon and all of its forms. It reminds me of some twitterpated girl clutching a bouquet of flowers to her chest, her eyes back in a heavenly manner while swaying slight from giddy happiness.  I hereby vow never to use the word swooning again.

Now that I’m off my pedestal, here’s some things I’m truly loving in life, my kitchen, and home!
Dinnerware from Kate Spade
. How can you not love all the polkadots and sparkles? I especially love that they’re on black or white backgrounds. The dining ware is so fun yet at the same time so classic.  I especially adore the pretty pantry appetizer plates!

Almond Milk Lattes. I am overly obsessed with almond milk lattes. I love that they have a slightly nutty, warm, almost toasty quality. I realize that true coffee aficionados will roll their eyes at my adoration for almond milk lattes but for me, they hit the spot!

Mrs. Meyer’s Cleaning Day cleaning products, specifically the Lavender scent. I’ve got Meyer’s crazy lately and own almost the entire Lavendar collection – multi-purpose spray, dish soap, window cleaner, surface scrub, hand soap, bathroom & tile, air freshener, candle, dryer sheets…Our house definitely smells like you’re walking through a field of lavender! Plus the products “work like the dickens but smell nice“ while being made from plant-based ingredients and essential oils. It’s a win-win in my book!

This new Boxwood Wreath that proudly hangs on our front door. I love that it’s such a vibrant, bright green and it adds a bust of color to our home. It’s welcoming yet at the same time neat and clean looking. I’m debating at bringing a few small boxwood wreaths into our kitchen to add a bit of greenery and life.

Okay, I know that the ‘haters gonna hate’ but I recently purchased these gold Taylor Swift Keds.

I cannot get enough of the glitter. Not only are they super cute but they also take a plain jeans and tshirt outfit to the next level. Plus, if you buy them right now, they’re 50% off! I’m sporting mine today with a jean jacket and plain gray tshirt.

Is there anything you’re loving this week? A secret guilty pleasure (like my gold Keds) that you can’t get enough of?
Let me know in the comments, I’d love to see what’s made your week special!
